About

My name is Stefano Cieri.
I live and work in Rome. Since 2006 I teach Fashion Design and Design Illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts, Frosinone and, since 2008, I also research on sustainable informatics development.
From November 2008 through July 2010, I’ve worked as an editor, stereoscopic consultant and pipeline code developer at Rainbow Cgi s.r.l.
Before that time I’ve been working in the design and visual communication fields, both as an individual and within teams, for a variety of clients.
Generally, I love working and researching on the topic of sustainable development and its applications in the design and communication fields.
In 2008 I earned my MA in system design, and in 2004 I earned my BA in industrial design, at Istituto Superiore per le Industrie Artistiche (I.S.I.A.), Rome; both my thesis dealt with sustainable design. I also gained a postgraduate, from the Engineering faculty of La Sapienza University (Rome), in Techniques for Multimedia
In 2004 I was tutor for the workshop Re-materialized at Zollverein School for Design and Management, Essen (Germany) and, in 2005, for the thesis and research workshop Sustainable Design at I.S.I.A., Rome.
I founded laboratorio Linfa together with L. Cuppone, R. Sciurpa and M. Lamberti, and I worked with them until July 2008.
